PINK HAZE...

Since the days have been getting shorter and it now gets super dark so early I am still trying to get used to planning my blogging around the light. As you can see from the slight pink haze on the pictures I definitely failed this time but lets just pretend it was meant to happen at sunset haha, at least I am wearing pink to match.

IT'S SUNNY SOMEWHERE...

So this probably isn't one to whack out when the weather is cold and rainy but I just don't think I am ready to dress for winter yet! As I have mentioned before I just hate layering so I am trying to push shorts and bralets for as long as I can, at least I can still wear them on a night out! One thing however that is a must in winter is a pair of leather shorts as they look really great in the evening but also with a chunky knit and some tights for a day look without showing too much leg. I am definitely growing a bit of an obsession with bomber jackets, I find them so effortlessly stylish and even though I am not cool in the slightest at least they make me seem it haha. The Boohoo satin one is such a luxe take on a bomber jacket and I just love the bright orange colour.

CASUAL MONDAYS...

Bit more of a causal one today as I just had to get my new lilac converse up on the blog. My converse collection is getting a bit silly now but I just can't get enough of them, they are just the easiest things to wear not to mention how they go with everything! The coloured ones are great to add a pop of colour to an outfit like what I am wearing here. Can't go wrong with some ripped jeans and a shearling jacket!

MY NEW BARNET...

For many of you who have been following me for a long time will know how obsessed I was with clip in extensions. I didn't go a day without wearing them, they were kind of like my comfort blanket. I became so obsessed with them mainly because since I was a little girl I have always dreamt of having beautiful long and thick hair but unfortunately this was not meant to be as my hair has always been SO thin. My clip in hair extensions, I thought anyway, were pretty much the closest thing I could get to achieve that long, thick look, that was until I found Vixen and Blush.

If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen that I recently went along to Vixen and Blush in Shoreditch, London to have my hair transformed with the help of micro ring extensions.

The salon is made up of a very small group of ladies which makes your experience a bit more personal, this is also helped by how lovely they all are. I spent most of the day with the owner Sarah and Lauren, who by the end I felt like I had known for ages. So a bit about what went on:

So to start off with I had a gloss put on my hair as I didn't want to change the colour but just wanted a bit more life and shine to my hair. This did just the job. My hair felt much healthier not to mention how soft and shiny it now is. I then had a hair trim and some layers cut into my hair after not going to a hairdresser for about a year, whoops!

(After the gloss - so soft and shiny!)

After this is was time to start adding the hair. The colour was matched to perfection and I had 3 different colours put in to match the different tones in my natural hair. I got a slightly darker colour for the underneath of my hair and then the colour got lighter as it went up.

(The 3 different shades of hair)

At Vixen and Blush they use Micro Rings as the method of putting in the hair extensions as this is the safest and best for you natural hair. Believe me I did a lot of research on this before I got them done as I did not want it to ruin my natural hair at all! The micro rings are not noticeable at all in my hair even when I put it up.

Now for the before and after, the best bit!

As you can see from the above pictures it looks so natural and I think that if people didn't know I have had extensions they wouldn't know :) Another massive thank you to the girls at Vixen and Blush for my new head of hair. If having micro ring extensions is something you have always wanted I would definitely recommend getting them done and would of course recommend you get them done at Vixen and Blush.
Just because I can't get enough of my new hair here is a few pictures of my new locks looking super snazzy thanks to my new GHD wave wand (available here):

ALL YEAR ROUND FLORALS...

InTheStyle certainly does it again! I don't think I can ever go on their website without seeing something I love and it all being so affordable is just a massive added bonus! My obsession with co-ord is definitely not a secret and I am so glad I am not going to have to give them up over winter with all these knitted and thicker versions around at the moment like this beautiful floral one. The thing I love most about this is both the jumper and skirt look so fab on their own so it is like 3 outfits in 1! The bold floral pattern is definitely a stand out one so it is a perfect piece for any events you might have coming up.

SKY HIGH...

I finally got my hands on a pair of these thigh high boots!! I can't believe how quickly they sold out everywhere so when I was shopping on Schuh the other day and saw these ones I had to purchase. I never would have thought these would be my style but after stealing Tigers (check out her blog here) for the day on my Motel Rocks shoot I fell in love! Not only are they super comfortable but they go with everything! They are perfect for when you want to wear skirts in winter like this beauty from Missguided as you can actually cover up more of your legs so you feel less exposed.
